HONEY has just launched its first sun product: An ultra-light and nourishing facial sunscreen, Face Sunscreen SPF 30. The sunscreen provides effective sun protection for the face without compromising on certifications or sensory experience.

Face Sunscreen SPF 30 is a long-awaited passion project and a part of the HONEY routine that many have requested. The sunscreen has been more than two years in the making, partly due to two non-negotiable requirements: the product had to be both AllergyCertified and Swan Labelled – a combination that is surprisingly difficult to achieve in sun protection. It is, of course, also 100% fragrance-free and effectively protects against both UVA and UVB rays.
"Since we started HONEY, we have wanted to develop our own sunscreen. Sun protection requires a great deal of insight into sun filters and the science behind them, and many considerations have gone into the finished result," says Liv Winther, co-founder of HONEY and former makeup artist.
The ultra-light formula quickly absorbs into the skin and combines clinically well-known ingredients: hyaluronic acid provides intensive moisture, organic aloe vera soothes, while active antioxidants together with the natural ingredient Saccharide Isomerate strengthen the skin's own barrier function and shield against free radicals. The result is a sunscreen that suits all skin types and provides protection, nourishment, and care all at once.
"UV radiation is one of the most significant factors when it comes to skin aging and increased risk of pigment spots and sun damage," explains Bea Fagerholt, co-founder of HONEY Skincare. "I have always had high demands on my sun protection, and Face Sunscreen SPF 30 meets all my requirements. The sunscreen has a light consistency that melts into the skin without leaving white marks or a greasy film."
